The International School for Advances Studies, (SISSA), with the support of the
Moscow Mathematical Society, GNFM and GNSAGA has established the Boris Dubrovin Medal
in memory of Boris Anatolievich Dubrovin, who has been Professor at SISSA from 1993 to
2019.
This award recognizes exceptionally promising young researchers who have
already made outstanding contributions to the fields of mathematical physics and
geometry. The recipient of the award will receive a monetary prize of 5,000 euros, made
possible thanks to the contribution of SISSA-Medialab and Springer journal Letters in Mathematical Physics. In case of more than one recipient, the prize will be equally split among recipients.
Requirements:
Ph.D. obtained within 2016 with 2 years extension for maternity leave for each child.
There are no nationality restrictions.
