Titolo: Moduli spaces and rational points of algebraic curves.
Riassunto: Abstract: The colloquium will describe moduli spaces of curves focussing on the connection between their geometry and the diophantine properties of the curves they parametrize. Some recent remarkable developments on this topic will be presented, together with some long standing open conjectures.
